We are delighted to announce an exciting new addition to our range of community services: electric bike hire is now available in Brae! This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to support sustainable travel and help reduce carbon emissions across Shetland.
With five high-quality electric bikes ready for hire, residents and visitors aged 16 and over can now enjoy a greener, healthier way to explore Brae and the surrounding area. Whether you’re commuting, running errands, or simply taking in the beautiful local scenery, our e-bikes offer an affordable and eco-friendly alternative to driving. Hire rates are just £15 per day or £75 for a week, making it easy and accessible for everyone to give electric biking a try.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, every hire includes a full induction from our knowledgeable staff, covering everything you need to know before setting off.
Bikes can be collected and returned at our temporary location at the Delting Galley Shed, Brae (ZE29QL). All hires and collections must be pre-arranged by contacting Jade Wilson at [email protected].
